Things aren’t looking so good for Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield in the first trailer for the remastered Resident Evil. The classic survival horror is getting remastered for a second time, coming to previous and next-gen consoles as well as PC in 2015, Capcom confirmed.

Resident Evil was originally released in 1996 for PlayStation, then upgraded in 2002 for GameCube. This new version will be an upgrade of that version, featuring 1080p graphics for next-gen consoles and PC, and 720p for current gen.

The new Resident Evil can be played in its original 4:3 aspect ratio or an upgraded 16:9. It will also feature new control schemes, but still offer fans the classic Resident Evil control options.

Resident Evil takes place in Raccoon City, where a series of creepy murders is taking place. The police’s special tactics squad (S.T.A.R.S.) is sent to investigate, but the two squads are separated during the mission. The game follows either Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine as they explore a mansion full of monsters, traps and puzzles and search for their missing teammates and find a traitor in their midst. The game, directed by Shinji Mikami, is considered one of the best entrants into the survival horror genre.

Capcom’s next Resident Evil remake will be out in 2015, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
