Watch Dogs – Honored

The latest trailer for Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs is all about the awards, and long before release, the game has collected quite a few… Aside from GTA V, Watch Dogs is arguably the most anticipated game of the year, and ever since its reveal at last year’s E3, its been gathering praise and awards, impressing almost all who see it.

The game has won over 90 nominations an awards so far, and if it’s a good as it looks, we can expect it to win even more when it actually hits the shelves, even if the game has been tarnished a little by an uncharacteristically poor showing in the criticised Aisha Taylor trailer.

This recent trailer introducing the Archer actress appeared to show the game running on current gen due to a noticeable drop in visual quality from the immaculate previous demonstrations.

Jonathan Morin, Watch Dogs’ Creative Director was quick to respond to the online critics. He conceded the relative poor quality of the trailer’s visuals, but said this was not due to current gen limitations, but instead an oversight by a technician who didn’t check the trailer correctly.

“You know sometimes 100s of people working together causes communications issues lets just say that,” he said.

He then reassured fans about the quality of the game’s visuals, “No worry to have on graphics at all, believe me.

“Love your passion guys but I see the game every day and I can tell you, this trailer is far from it.”

You can see the Aisha Taylor trailer below, so you can make up your own mind. Compare this to the Honors trailer, and you can easily see what all the fuss was about.

Watch Dogs will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Wii U and PC on November 19 in the US and November 22 in Europe.
