Wrack is an indie, super-retro FPS very much in the high-speed vein of the original Doom, but pinning proper, and attractively cel-shaded, 3D graphics to those old bones. There have been robots, festive firefights, halloween horrors and plenty of other additions deserving of the descriptors ‘oddball’ and ‘wacky’. And now it’s the turn of the moon to have colourful men bunny hopping all over its face. All is explained in the videofilm below.
Are games art? Can we authentically depict emotion in a virtual space? What is the meaning of Tetris? Can we read authenticity into the actions of Master Chief? If a tree falls in a forest and no one’s around to hear it, is it the Citizen Kane of games? Intrusion 2 attempts to answer precisely none of these important questions.
